I tried to keep the proportions pretty close to yours. Keep an eye on your arm and leg lengths though. Make sure they're the same length. Draw through the body to remind yourself how the limbs work behind the body/clothes/etc... I googled quidditch and kikis delivery service to see how they typically ride on a broom. With the broom tilted that vertically, she'd fall off. She would also be leaning way more forward, but I just stuck with dealing with the proportions, not changing the pose altogether. This should help.
