again i have no knowledge on this and i don't draw either. this is just a curiosity.

Oldie but a Goldie, they assume Louis Wain had schizophrenia but oddly enough, some of his symptoms did not match schizophrenia. Some say he went insane as a result of a parasite commonly found in cat feces getting inside of him.

Interesting stuff, thanks anon. I have major depressive disorder, and seeing people use their negative thoughts towards positive ends is reassuring for me. If drawing these was therapeutic for her it's possible she stopped because she's doing better. I usually look down on this kind of "edgy teen" stuff, but I respect it more when it presumably comes from an actual emotionally distressed teen trying to cope. It's intriguing she'd delete these so quickly after sharing them. It seems like this really was some ephemeral therapy for her.

I love all of Waine's Works, I've recently started taking LSD and his more abstract stuff is really mind-blowing when you look at it during a trip because all of those works were created before the discovery of hallucinogenics.
