That has little importance(although Eastern europe/southamerica looks promising in a couple of decades). English is spoken everywhere and you don't really need to mingle with anyone. That being said I can speak 3 languages and counting.
And you can easily tell if it[s a good neighborhood online, asking to friends or having lived there as a nomad before

I would "retire" at 65, meaning start taking money out of my investments(while they still keep making me money), and since I already have at least 1 house, I wouldn't need more than 500/month to live off even if I'm still working.
from 150k.. that's about 25 years to live off, and If I'm still alive by 90, then I can sell the house, which has risen in value as you said, only to be passed on when I die.

I'm not sure why you think I'm being delusional or something. do you really think I won't be able to buy a house for 100/200k in a couple of decades? even bad neighborhoods now can become nice ones in that time
