I don't paint often, I could never get behind it in any art class.
I'm way more into simple cartoon stuff but

I want to learn how to paint like this and APPLY it to cartoon stuff,

did a quick head and spent a solid couple hours painting its shading.

I'm sure its shit but at least let me know if I', in the right direction as far as adding color, lights and darks, and whatever else goes.
