What's with the trend with people trying to shut down artists trying to express their own vision? It is worrying that people think it is more cool to shut down other people's work, or complaining about them to death until the original artists's vision needs to be rectified until it suits their own.

In my opinion, I think these people should instead try to make something themselves based on their own vision instead of shitting on others. It might come out even better than the stuff they are complaining about. But that definitely takes more effort. People are born lazy.

What's more troubling is even community of creators are not immune from this, and can be seen on /ic/, for example, if you look around.
