there was always something not quite right about his work that got me, but after those videos plus looking at this gif of his 'process' - every feature is perfectly placed and there's no point where in painting over it he decides to adjust it - it's too perfect, like tracing.

i mean, the guy obviously can paint somewhat and place an aesthetic (albiet, a vomit one) into portraiture, why bother manipulating? why not just learn to paint at this point?
