>Talentless and boring kid
>Started drawing with aims to improve at age 10, not particularly talented
>Learned the basic stuff by myself
>Worked hard and some people noticed improvement
>One day I made some porn doodle as a joke (I was 12 at the moment)
>Everyone in my class loved it
>Drew porn and sold it to my male classmates everyday
>This way I always had money for lunch
>Even got in trouble a few times as some parents and teachers noticed (catholic school in the 90's)
>Never stopped despite this, even started selling my stuff to kids in other classes
>My clientbase developed a taste and demanded for quality so I had to step up my game
>Went to a few comfy art courses and met some cool people
>I'm still friends with them to this day
>By the end of my last high school year I got all sort of requests besides porn (vehicles, landscapes, portraits, even love letters with drawings for girls)
>Went to uni, Graphic Design was the only career I could take that was somehow art related in my city
>My parents worked hard to pay for it
>Faced harsh criticism for the first time in my life
>Got severely depressed because of this and other stuff (parents divorce, dumped after a 5 years relationship)
>Dropped uni and still regretting it
>Got into various jobs, nothing related to art
>Stopped drawing and painting for years and felt terrible
>Slowly started to work in a sketchbook again in my twenties
>Reading manuals and tutorials, finally and slowly facing my own mistakes
>Improving for the first time in years
>Currently trying to get into illustration and considering going back to classes next year, on another uni and a different career
