Yeah. But seriously study harder, if you don't know what you need and don't have a strong vision nothing is gonna come out well.

I know, BUT a solid shadow or even worse a line art makes it look like a hard edge. Hard edge reads as if she has an abdominal vagina and it looks terrifying.
You should only do it VERY softly or just omit it if your shadows are all hard.

Depends on the scene, you can find orange, red or even purple shadows on the good pictures from good artists. It generally moves towards that way on the color circle, but how far is your call as an artist. You can make green skin work next to a purple shadow if you want extreme contrast.
Take a good picture and poke it with a color picker for research (don't just steal colors mindlessly though it's a study)
There's a lot to learn really, focus in the drawing first.

Pixiv is full of wonderful and mind blowing works. But there's also some awful shit just like on DA as well. Neither Pixiv nor DA have any quality standards or filters.
