It's just that this is supposedly the last bastion of the art community on the internet

Twitter is well...Twitter
Tumblr has no community aspect to it
Discord is mostly full of drama and people wanting to show off
Misskey is JP only
Mastodon is in it's infancy

If I can't ask here. I'm kind of on my own, just hoarding resources I barely know how to apply
And with so many courses and book, it's hard to know which one would be good for me you know?

I went with loomis because I'm going for a not so stylized look for my drawings (Something like ghost in the shell 1995)
Loomis is apparently good for realism so I figured. "hey it could work!"

But you are right.
There's no point in arguing here.
Thank you for the recommendation though. I'll analyze some of their streams
