>fully aware that there will always be someone else stronger than me and genuinely don't care about it
>even if my 1RM falls by 40-50lbs I still feel joy and pride in the self improvement as I climb my way back up and learn new ways to improve my lifts
>artist mindset
>constant frustration at not being able to grasp concepts no matter how hard I study
>don't care about other artists being better than me, moreso resentful that a lot of them just have a higher aptitude for this stuff and progress a lot more quickly than I do
>also extremely angry at myself for wasting so much time not trying harder to learn and taking super long breaks in between learning instead
>feel extremely stupid as well for not progressing at the rate I want to and it takes an immense effort to sit down and force myself to practice
>feels like I'll never be at the skill level I want to be at in order to achieve my long term goals which further hinders my desire to keep grinding
How the fuck do I align my gym mindset with my creative mindset? Why the fuck can I not just enjoy drawing for the sake of it?
