Back in the days where DeviantArt was something I would've cared because many comments were sincere. But now? On Twitter? I don't give a damn crap what people have to say. Most of the time those posts are failed attempts to create the next meaningless "meme". May you like my work or not, I won't read what your comment. My brain has enough of this garbage.

I do this. And I don't accept PM.
I also don't look at my followers account and my likes number. If someone wants to commission me. Haha, get lost plebeian, I don't take commissions. But if that's not the case for you, simply give a commission mail in a pinned tweet on your page.
Worst thing you could do on the long run in my opinion is faking your interest in social media interaction when you don't like that. You're gonna feel bad about it.

I don't know how to monetize my stuff. Everytime I come up with an idea I put it aside as I'm not sure to be mentally healthy enough to work on the long run. It's not cool to start a Patreon and then disappearing for weeks or posting inconsistent quality material for them because of a fragile mind.
