What do I need to be able to draw a nicer background? I can never seem to roughly or neatly draw a foliage/leaves/grass or anything like that. It usually ends in this horrible scribble and ruins the entire work.
Anyone have any tips? Im still pretty /beg/ so I want to get as much logical practice I can get. I hate seeing my scribbles cause I know its frustration of not know what to do

You can see with the tree behind I just plonked it in and also drew the outline of some bushes
