I can see why that wasn't clear, especially with 3 seperate ideas for what it should look like on one "reference". On the current 'official' one I tried to show on the back side, it's got the two sides divided by a big spoon cut where the tail is supposed to rest between. I don't know if the actual thing is called a fauld or tassets but in his case for now it's just attached to the dark layer of his shirt essentially making it a long coat worn over the diamond pattern shirt. The 3 flaps are just extra stylized from front views to look more like wings, I probably could have made a note of that, or learned how to actually draw them flared out like that from a side angle.
Honestly the entire tasset section is a mess and the more I try to work with it the more it seems like it was something that only looked good in the initial drawing, starting to think I should just say fuck it it clips out of a perfectly sized hole because its a cartoon. Wondering if the short cut would undermine the 'regalness' (ty btw) and maybe it only looked good because that particular drawing had the wings out. Would appreciate any ideas or input anons have.
I will draw him after work! Looks very friendly would read a webcomic about.

BASED TradGOD, I love the perspective and posing, it's very impressive! Reminds me of the poses I try to draw people's in before giving up. Point me to who you want drawn :)
