that's all for now. I don't have a lot of what you'd call psychedelic art, not really my thing maaaan. but I do think that lucian freud's style is more reminiscent of how the world looks on acid than any saturated new age shit though. veristic detail exaggerated textures, vivid sense of form, just a bit undulating/wonky looking.

the example you posted looks just as hollow and photographic, it just has a few cheap brush tricks here and there to give it a painterly look
