art has become such a solitary thing for me, I can't imagine someone seeing me in the process
it's also an incredibly one-sided thing for me, it's hard for me to care about most other peoples' art cause I really just wanna draw and I'd feel bad about having artfriends but not caring about their work outside of the fact they're my friends

I've had a few friends who are more friend than artfriend show me their art and it just wrecks me because all I can say is "wow that's pretty" but it's not genuine at all and I want to care more about their art but I just can't and it kills me to feign interest because they're my friend and i HATE deceiving people
