you're taking too to respond and i gots to be drawing so i'll post this :

Want to get good at anatomy? grind a good anatomy book like Bammes. Then you supplement that with life drawing. When I say life drawing, you can draw from photos. Just draw real humans. This is where you cement your anatomy, find out what you're weak at, discover gesture etc. This anatomy study <-> life drawing is an endless cycle you'll be doing for the rest of your life if you're committed to being a good draftsman. You can transform that knowledge however you'd like whether realistic or stylized.

You also need to study perspective. Scott Robertson's how to draw is better than any Drawabox lesson. It's tough, it's dense but don't give up. If you're finding it too tough, go through framed perspective or perspective made easy. You'll eventually come back to Scott Robertson. I wouldn't even recommend going through the whole book unless you're really into industrial and vehicle design. Learn Perspective well enough to where you can establish and deconstruct basic perspective. That's my goal at least. Supplement with life drawing(landscapes, city scapes, etc etc)

Painting? All Prima, James Gurney, How to Render. All great choices.

Composition, framed perspective, film screen studies etc etc.

thi drawing shit has been figured out for centuries. stop grinding boxes and listening to people who can't fucking draw.

pic related is from the drawabox guy's portfolio. Even though it may be better than what you can currently do, I'd be shocked if you think it looked good, even 10 year old me wouldn't take his advice.
