To me, there seems to be a better sense of depth and atmosphere in your newer pieces, like the characters are both engaging with you, the viewer and at the same time very much placed in their own world. I feel drawn in as a result, you are accomplishing a similar thing with perspective in many of the other pieces but way the figures relate to the background really sells it.

Here's my work for 2023. I didn't have the chance to draw as much as I might have liked but I feel okay about my progress nonetheless.
