read this book (pirate it)

your workflow do not help you, your skills and understanding of value/color are lacking, so start using overlaying layers to adjust your color palette, if you go from handpicking without knowing shit about that complex tool, you're gonna do terrible just as you did, without solution if you keep doing it

there are so many huge mistakes on that pic that make it an unfixable turd
Drawing:
>1:1 copying of shapes/contourn lines
>lineart without variations to make distances read
>face proportions, really bigforehead, angled mouth, eyes too close, neck too wide
>not clean lines
>spam of straight lines on hair
>clouds with texture, no texture anywhere else = pop out as foreground, while it's supposedly bg
Values
>little to no contrast, no highlights, no darks
>values all over the place, horizontal line is darkest shit of the image, competing with the figure, making it read flat
atmospheric perspective makes things fade in the distance
>no lighting setup, we can't locate or predict the light source
>your shadows might do a little as an AO layer (ambient occlusion:where ambient light reach less), but you still need to separate light from casted shadows

Doing AO in a different workflow than doing shadows will help you to design renderworks without huge difficulty

Colors:
>No armony, they're not "cousins", colors should always make a family, it's not about complementaries, it's about being close and not far away on the cromathic circle. Using a color over all these random colorpicks will unify them.
>hue variations, there's none
>color temperature, there's none
>color contrasts: theres's none
>saturation spikes between brightness and darkness:none
>saturation related to athmospheric perspective: none
>fluor unrealistic colors for hair/lips/tatto

If I were you, I would erase everything, keep the line art and start working step by step
