How do you get your drawings to look like the stuff in these sketchbooks? I don't know where to put lines for anything and my drawings look like 5 year olds.

I see these drawings and see different line thickness and lines that aren't connected in some places, but I have no idea how to do any of that. Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm an uncreative person who really wants to draw.

This is the only picture I have saved on my computer that I drew in a lined notebook middle school style, and it's an anime style video game character (kill me).
