How does one adapt to the artist way of thinking of knowing what 3d shapes to use? I feel like im on the edge of knowing how to make my shit more 3d.

What would you recommend and shill to me? I don't have time to go through books or do bullshit like draw a box. Im not super deep thinking or analytical. I usually get hit with these comments
>Drawing is too flat
>Drawing is too stiff
>You symbol draw
I just want to get better but theres so many fucking resources. I just want to have a kino cartoony slightly realistic style.

To anybody that has done an art book in full, which one was worth doing and which one wasn't? Been procrastinating from art for a bit because of college stuff. I want to git gud. I didn't like draw a box because he didn't explain stuff properly and fun with a pencil kinda talked down to me in a weird way. I kinda understand what symbol drawing is but I haven't been able to apply it to my "style" at all. Im also not the smartest, analytical or deep thinking individual ever. How does one get out of pre beg hell?

How the fuck do I get out of pre beg mode? I am slowly grasping the ideas of going against symbol drawing but what else can I do?

Rip into me and go as hard as you can. Haven't posted here or did a serious drawing in a long time. Due to life stuff I might have more time to grind art.
