Honestly though, if you're going to draw smut, don't be shameful about it. Just keep your smut business separate from your professional business. There are loads of professional JP artists who have drawn or still do draw smut. Hideki Ishikawa, artist behind MegaMan Legends, and Raita Honjou, artist behind Valkyria Chronicles, comes to mind.
