Its only been six months!!! 7 if you include the Dalle-mini back in July! This isn't even the tip of the iceberg. The next models are going be over 1billion parameters (for comparison SD 2.1 is less than 500mil). It feels so long ago because we literally went from "huheue fanny image generator" to "way past the uncanny valley" to "reliably producing anime porn". It's December now at it feels like a decade nearly past.
