I don't paint teeth with black outlines for one. I don't even paint teeth normally. And your "coloring book" mentality to me screams that you're probably not a painter and you've probably never made anything other than the fundamentals of drawing. You aren't bringing anything to the table in terms of depth of knowledge or intellectual empathy. You can barely grasp the language.

I kind of wanted to just do most of the canvas with opaque black except for the important shit. Highlights from his uniform, his badge and key highlights and junk. Then just the hands and faces and are prominent.

Haven't decided if I want to do everything but the hat as black and white or not.
