Massively reduced reach for every type of post other than Reels (tiktok style videos), shows everybody Reels from people they follow more than it shows them pictures by people they DO follow.

Having to compete with eyegrabbing video content when you just want to share your pictures.

Mostly dead, the most active ones are aggressively anti-AI and anti-NFT, which I have nothing to do with, but don't want to feel like I'm being scrutinised for that stuff. Mastodon.art just disconnected from another big mastodon for some weird disagreement between admins, nothing bad actually happened, they just disagreed about something

Mayyybe? I know they banned NSFW at some point but I haven't heard much bad about it recently.
