The issue why it works basically on everyone is because no one gives a single shit about sfw art, nor do people support it, financially and otherwise. Unless there is a product behind it i.e. games, merch, elaborated illustrations of existing IPs/fanart. The bar for sfw is set unreasonably high, whereas you can just draw titty, and everyone will throw praise and money at you, not with the best intent in mind.

Those who push/support porn also are willing to spend time and money pushing it and making sure new porn gets made non stop, which is weird as fuck as to why they would go such lengths for that when there is already more than enough porn already existing except with the reason that porn addicts always need novelty, no matter what.

If they were really this bothered by artists to go out of their way this much, then there is something incredibly wrong with these apparent real people which leads me to believe that it's bots.

It's the same as women occupying office jobs with some made up job description but doing fuck-all all day except drinking coffee and juice or chilling in the relax area, while posting stories on instagram about how important they are for the company and the 5 minutes they work on the laptops which consists of checking e-mail.

Indeed, i do love art but i really do not like everything else surrounding it.
There is always drama and scamming going on.
Artists going at each others throats, lying, cheating, bullying and doing everything to get social media famous.
Painful, not really. It's rather tiring. I just want to draw and not get drowned by literal shit whenever i might post on the internet.

I want to talk about art and understand it better than talk about how to get followers on social media or how to draw the current thing to guarantee likes.
I'm not special, i just want to pursue something that fulfills me, but people, aifags and the majority of artists really make it impossible to do so since it takes two to dance.

Most resources/tutorials/etc cause it's the most used. But also expensive and imo hard to get, sometimes it's hard to find simple tools or settings. I personally don't like it too much but it's probably just me

Fast light and easy to get. Also very easy to download without paying. Not a big fan of the brushes but it's very easy to use

Like SAI but less brushes. I use it for fast sketches or lineart but I don't recommend it for painting and/or doing complicated textures. Like it's good for anime girls but probably not for complicated scenes. Also free

Only used it a long time ago but it looks pretty cool. Many cool settings and layer modes. Looks pretty good for comics/manga. Maybe also a bit hard to get at first so I wouldn't recommend it to begginers. Not free but they have sales sometimes I think

I really like the brushes I've found online and the preset ones are also pretty good. Has some cool stuff like layer settings etc (like csp). Bad thing is it's pretty heavy and it may run slow even if you have a good PC. Also it's free

How to learn music as a total beginner? Should I pick up a guitar or a keyboard? I don't care about genre, I just want to be able to play what I feel, can I just play with any instrument until I figure "music theory" out on my own or something?

THINKING of participating this year, if I do i'm gonna merge two or three of the lists and try to come up with character designs with 3 simultanious prompts, seems like it could force me to come up with some decent stuff
I have all my pens from last year but I havent touched them since then, should they still be good or are they fucked?
