I'm not sure if this question belongs here, so i'm sorry if it's doesn't. I tried asking the tablet threads but they seems to still be busy with their console wars thing

So i just got a flip cover/stand for my samsung tab, which uses a magnet fastener, but apparently that magnet causes the digitizer on the area above it to distort like pic related
Now, this doesn't interfere with my drawing process that much, since the distortion is pretty weak and it's easy to compensate for it. But i'm kinda worried about the long term effects. Will this create something like a permanent dead zone later on?
