/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

Hey friends, first time poster on /ic/ here. Finally decided to try to improve at art. I read a couple things about drawing stuff upside down to break perception and learn how to identify shapes and shades that way, so I tried drawing a couple musicians upside down.
This is probably the worst thing I've ever drawn. It's unsettling. But, at least I'm trying. Right now I plan on practicing this a few times every day. When I start seeing improvement, I'll move on to drawing things normally. My end goal is to get good enough to make cartoon fanart (which I recognize is really fucking gay but whatever) and death metal album covers
