If that's the way professional artists work, then I should do it.
But I don't know is it the way pros work; even ISIS faggot on his blog have trees that weren't drawn like that (pic related). But why he asks in his tut to draw them differently then?
And when I google tutorials about drawing trees in ink, I can find examples of both methods:
