I use references for poses. I regularly attempt at drawing them from imagination but they always end up stiff and most of the time I get discouraged before I get it to some semi-finished state
I find drawing poses waaaay more enjoyable when using a good reference photo, and get into the flow much easier
if I'm not doing a study I do a lots of adjustments to proportions and stuff to my liking anyway

by the way does it mean I'm a perma/beg/ if I can only draw using reference?
