I'm starting to think there's a fucking conspiracy against me or something. I've been trying for months to get commissions but haven't gotten a single one. Not even when I was underselling and charging $10-$25 a piece.
I used to actually get commissions when I'd do shitty pencil sketches that I'd take a pic of with my phone a couple of years ago but I'm having fucking zero luck now that I'm digital and my art has improved drastically.

I don't have the mindset to treat art like a fucking math-course

I love art and I love doing art but I just cant get myself to do three hours of vapid copying of other peoples form stick figures

does anyone have the same experience as me?

I've just recently become overwhelmed by a great desire to start drawing again, yet at the same time I am incredibly uninspired.

Though I obsessively read books on figure drawing, anatomy, etc., I just cannot bring myself to make a couple pages worth of sketches.

Maybe I just appreciate the different nuances of drawing more so than the actual act of doing it myself.

Or maybe I have artists block?

Maybe I'm just full of myself...
