It's funny how people think /pol/ types come out of a vacuum or something. They call us "reactionaries" for a reason. We're not going to sit by and take stupid shit without talking about it or defending ourselves through argument when necessary. I've been out of school for quite some time now and the status quo was already significantly anti-white then and its gotten far worse since.

Of course, there's nothing worse than a bonafide autistic that latches onto a cause you yourself may identify with and makes it into a laughingstock by proxy.

The data in the images I'd made, based though it is on census data from the federal government, is not perfect. It is however the best data we currently have available on the subject. If you have anything better then by all means, do-tell.

If even 25% of working artists had no degree in from an art school, attending them would be a questionable decision, however, according to the data it's possible up to 85% or more do not which makes attendance even more tenuous.

Pair this data with the many anecdotes we can find of working artists who've never set foot in a classroom and it's clear that if you go to school in the U.S. without even trying on your own you've been led down the wrong path.

Like I said in the last school thread, I bring it up because I can, because it's easy for me to do so, and because I get rock hard at the prospect of having prevented even one naive person from having irreparably damaged their quality of life because they went to the wrong school.

Actually there's an atelier within 20 minutes of my home that I plan on attending over summer.

the art school to mcdonald's (and mcdebt) pipeline is a perfectly legitimate discussion to have.

>you just can't tell an artist the way where he should go

This is the same as saying "you just can't tell a mechanic the way where he should go" or "you just can't tell a lawyer the way where he should go".

Think of art in the same context as any other professional field. Without study of the foundations and methods those before you have conveniently established for your benefit you run the risk of never making substantial progress. If you want to make abstract art based intuition alone that's fine because there's no fear of progression or regression for that matter, you just do whatever you feel like and try and make it sound cool.
