There are plenty of ways to be "creative", it's not only about the face, which in that case is like criticizing that some artists would only draw realistic ones.

I'm not sure what you seems to consider "moe" face though. There are plenty of artists that uses lots of popular Anime characteristics while giving a totally different tone to their works.
