are iq and drawing skill in anyway linked?

if a drawing is good enough can you tell the artist is very intelligent?


on the one hand obviously there are plenty of geniuses who dont draw so they wouldnt be good if they suddenly tried.

but if someone is a great artist does that mean they must have a decently high iq?

Those of you who create webcomics/manga, what is your crafting process and how long on average per page does it take?
For me, its
thumbnail > rough sketch > refine sketch > ink/blacks > scan > touch up > typesetting
or
thumbnail > rough sketch > refine sketch > scan > digital ink/blacks > touch up > typesetting

the problem is that this takes about 5 to 6 hours per page and i need to do it faster, 15 pages a week faster
is there anyway to?

I actually like some porn artist for their style rather than their porn.
For example, I like JJfrenchie's non-porn art just as his porn ones. It's his use of colors and inking that really gives a bit of "design" feel to it.
