Looked through some of his stuff. Meh. Not for me I guess. He is skilled at doing portraits and figures but his finished stuff isn't that appealing to me. The subject matter and concepts behind the painting seem kind of shallow and superficial to me (just references famous movements/paintings and throws a figure in his style on top). Also the figures look like they were photoshopped into the environment. Obviously they're hand painted but the figures don't gel with the rest of the painting. I think he gotten really good at painting people from life but not much else. Probably a good teacher to learn from but his art doesn't really appeal to me.
