Realism in an artwork can be beautiful if you apply it on things that don't exist and even then the subject matter needs to be non-realistic that it gives a new perspective to the subject matter.
Realism should be used with that intent, because even if realism might show technical proficiency, realism doesn't make the artwork and it doesn't automatically raise the quality or value of the artwork.

>draw for a living and base their entire livelihood on their art are like 9 to 5 drones, pushing out the same cookie cut designs for the masses to gorge on.
Still doesn't make her immune to criticism, any other form of discussion and observation or mockery for all it matters.
Learning from the mistakes of others should also be part of any artists training.
Training your eye is also a must.
Not every piece of work that mimics reality is a masterpiece.
Not every piece that is mindlessly consumed by the masses means it's good.
Observing that type of work should be a warning about how to not to be trapped in that golden cage if one actually cares about their art.

And shitting on Sakitschi is like beating a dead horse that changes shape and color endlessly whenever you hit it; there is no reason to it, but it's fun.
What anons don't do here is draw others works badly, and see for themselves how fucking fun that is.

It's because of the semi realistic render with the anime elementts.
Because, normies think
>if art more realistic=good
And even then, most pay for the novelty of having trendgirl drawn.
Many "collect art" Many are just porn addicts.

Put yourself in the mind of a normie and you understand why things are how they are.

It's the
>Consumer argument
By this logic art should be anime and porn, because those are the "art" that actually makes money. Many artists that don't want to fall into the degeneracy will be demoralized and forced to give up
>"What is the point in creating something that will not be seen or outright ignored because it isn't [insert current popular consumer product here]?"
Capitalism allows you to capitalize on what you can offer, but the system has been twisted and molded into a living hell by psychopaths and those who enabled them because money.
Everything is marketing, nothing is genuine.
Look at /ic/ and how much expression most works have here:
>Basically none
It's all bland crap that is supposed to be consumed in an instance only to jump off to the next one.
Many discussion on this board are
>How to social media
>how to do current trend
>how to earn money
>crabbing
>porn
What we have isn't even Capitalism anymore.
It's the final form of it.
An abomination so great nobody even wants to fathom what it would be like to do art for its own sake.
If you want money so desperately, get a regular job.
And yes, Art can thrive as a business, but only as that and if you're willing to sell your soul and humanity.
Enjoy your fried McAnime, lardass

You art needs not to be perfect, and stylization is peak artistry. You cannot prove this man wrong.
