I'll take it as a compliment? My sketches are pretty rough but I'm trying to practice clothing and how it stretches and sits. I'm not a big fan of realism but I can see the importance in trying to make an image feel "real". I still need to work on posing, line weight, backgrounds, expression and colour among other things but my goal for 2020 as dumb as it sounds is to try and bring some form of realistic anatomy and clothing to some heavily stylized girls to ground them and make them "real" in a sense.

Is good stuff and really expressive but isn't attempting to be anything else. Which is perfectly fine in its own right imo. However I think the intent behind our drawings are different and it can be seen in the works.
That being said I have a loooooooong way to go before I can even apply any of what I just said to my own work. Finding a good balance between style and realism is tough when you are a master of neither.
