Proko's advice to break gestures into C curves, S curves, and I (straight) is something that really resonated with me.

I had a hard time trying to focus on gesture and keep trying to draw contour instead when trying to capture totality but an anon (http://boards.4chan.org/ic/thread/3963218#p3964799)) explained to try and capture volume and that will also help capture the meaning.

Anyone have more advice?
