ask 100 artists how to paint in digital and you will get 20 different approaches. there are simply too many ways how to arrive to same destination. experiment and see what works for you. Like look at my shit: i picked bristles brush and binded color hue and color mix to pressure and picked one bright and one darker blue and it shitted this. Not a single color pick was made during this, only changing brush size and opacity
