I started a book called "Rapid viz" by Kurt Hanks and Larry Belliston. Here is Chapter 0 exercises 1-5. I will quickly explain what he wanted you to do in these exercises.

1:Fuck around with pen/pens and try to get different lines.
2. Draw faces with different line weights.
3. Have someone draw you some random lines/shapes and make them into a doodle.
4. Draw what the book describes
5. Make up own description and draw what you describe.
