Alright, let's settle this once and for all with regard to the Attitudes shift like weather around here.

Additionally, I would like to hear everyone's opinions on the following. How much punishment should be doled out / should the following be permitted on the site:

I take your point on the line drawing thing, and believe you me, if every day was perfectly allocated, I would be spending 4-5 hours like this:
> 1-1.5 hr shape study from imagination
> 1-2 hrs current lesson plan (perspective)
> 1-3 hr application of new knowledge

But sometimes I can only do the "warmup" because I get so engrossed in the process, and sometimes a lesson takes longer than anticipated as I'm trying to understand it. And to that end, I think it's really important I nail down a concrete understanding of perspective. That being said, I'm not going to wait until the end of a unit to apply the new concepts; I'm going to work on doing that as soon as possible (and that means today).
