My teacher recommended me for a once-a-week magnet school art program and I started in second grade, a year early. From 2nd to 8th grade we had 4 different 9-week courses on different subjects with a different local artist instructor. It was pretty dope. Except for when it came out that the japanese aesthetics and pottery teacher was a kid diddler. He'd always invite over the nice boys to his house to use his kiln, and then he was like leaving porn in the bathroom with a hidden camera and recording them and blowing them and stuff. I never got invited tho.

I mean in 7th grade I built a big puppet face thing using anatomical string "muscles" on a molded foam skull with silk skin that you could pull on to manipulate the face. Also made a hat made out of a bark that year. Not all the courses were winners.

Point is there's a good chance I've forgotten more about anatomy and perspective and production than you'll ever learn.

No I've been doing acrylic since 2016. Essentially didn't draw/paint at all from the age of 18-28.
