You seem to have a black and white vision of things. This might sound incredible to you but there are people in the world who take stuff seriously and that doesn't mean being an edgy nihilist, who paints for money or the glory. In fact it's quite the contrary. The moment you are having fun is just as bad as the moment in which you are frustrated. Both should be avoided as they are both distraction from your goal.
>I can tell you already, you will never make it. Many years from now, you will look back and think "man, I wasted my life".
Pic related, in your opinion this man (and every other stoic) will never make it and will think he has wasted his life because he thought about leading a serious life instead of "just having fun".
