Thank you, I see what's wrong with this now. I did sketch the body before drawing the skirt, but it was rough and poor. This was another 'it's just a 3/4 standing pose, I can wing it without references' attempt, and turns out I still can't wing it.

Clothes and hair were drawn by marking roughly where they should be, making some lines around the outlines, and deleting them if they didn't look good. I don't know if this is a good method and I'll start drawing better curves with practice, or if I should do something more deliberate.
