It's actually something i've been considering doing on pict related. Which is the left handed meme. idk if I can't do it because I've never tried. Not that I think anyone could necessarily do the same thing with paint as a computer algorithm can do with an image of paint. And I wouldn't really do what that shit is doing since it's just randomized nonsense. But the idea of really gooping on paint and pushing it around wet and having a crazy amount of texture built onto it is something I'm working towards.

If you're asking for free labor with no expectation for pay or coproducer credit or back end or whatever idk what you'd really expect.

Yeah probably. Everyone learns how to write in grade school. While art is something that many public schools don't even have classes for. There are less "artists" than there are "writers." So from a purely labor standpoint, yeah artists are "inherently" worth more.

Because you're basically proecting this uppity vibe that pfft they're just executing muh vision kind of. There's a difference between collaboration and unpaid labor.

You're asking someone to dedicate part of their life, time, and labor. If you ask someone to dig a ditch and they ask for compensation, would you get equally flummoxed and ask if it's "the principle of the thing?"

And if you're already a good "writer" why not just get into doing art and become a double threat? Put a few years into it and you'll be painting left handed easy peasy.
