it was a very stiff pose. the woman was almost straight as a board. not much gesture and motion to be conveyed, but i'm sure someone more skilled than I am could've coaxed it out of her. That's something I'll have to improve on with these longer poses because for the most part it's older people doing sitting poses in an upright position.

For what it's worth though the nib pen with different value ink has actually made me more focused, and willing to spend more time on a drawing. Just because it takes so long to build up the lines for something to look finished you really have to invest some time into it.

Compared to when I've tried doing pencil drawings ( although I should get back to that) and marker drawings for longer poses I end up getting everything down in an hour and then leaving.

pic related this was a friday class too but I finished this in time to do a painting also. big difference with this pen
