.maybe focus on expanding what you do to more shit than drawing. get some sculpey or a cheap paint set or look into printmaking or whatever.

You can put a night's effort into a drawing and feel like you just made a doodle but if you do spend that time learning a process that produces a more obvious product the process itself can become satisfying.

If you're not trying to get a job that values your drafting ability or whatever you don't really need to endlessly practice at elementary level shit. It's ok to not be great at drawing. It doesn't need to be The Barrier to entry before you graduate yourself into actually producing stuff.

It's like thinking you can't write a book until you master cursive.

and for the record this isn't supposed to be a fight-with-OP thread. I'm sorry so many of you are in political cults. I'm sorry so many of you have insecurity about drugs and alcohol. I'm sorry that so many of you don't produce anything and feel the need to attack me to justify yourselves. I'm sorry you don't like acrylic meme portraits. I'm sorry you don't like grids. I'm not. There's like 300 paintings. Most of the shit I've posted are things I've been working on this week/month.

Why? This is a fucking drawing thread on a critique board. I don't care about being validated by anonymous dipshit kids with their anime photoshop drawings. I post recent shit because every once in a while actual critique or commentary that I can use in the future slithers through all the buttblasted projection.
