without knowing specifics it's tough to give advice, but keep going, keep learning, try to draw at least a little every day. learning to draw is just like learning most things, takes time, and you only get better at the things you practice.

I like the cartoon style, depending on what you are going for, you could exaggerate the poses more, that might be fun.
