When drawing from reference should you use the Loomis method to construct a basic head shape? I tried to draw pic related and it was at an angle I wasn't used to but I couldn't get the chin right at all with the method.

I tried drawing it purely from reference and I had more success even if the jaw angle isn't right but with the Loomis method I kept getting a result that looked like a really fat neck/shallow chin
