/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

I found out that trying to find reference or irl stuff is holding me back as its difficult to find something that potrays what I want to learn well and I have a feeling that the finished product will suck even if I draw everything correctly since the reference is so uninteresting.
Recently Ive told myself to draw everyday so I've been redrawing art that I find here or twitter, tumblr and trying to learn from the artist and correct their mistakes occasionaly. Does anyone else do this? Is this a good way to learn shit?
