many people think crabs are only negative jerks who insult you and or your art. Wrong. There is way more dangerous insidious type of crabs. Unlike usual crabs which just make the drawers stop drawing these FALSELY COMPLIMENTS your stuff. This makes you think your beg doodle is actually good. That is the worst thing which can happen to a beg: imagine spending years doodling the same low quality shit, not improving at all and just thanks to a crab who keeps nodding: yup yup thats the shit.

Be very wary anons, dont trust every single compliment blindly. Always analyze if the praise was even deserved.

you never want to zoom closer than 100%. Going past 100% is wasted effort on details nobody will be able to see anyway + it produces blurred results. Make canvas big enough so you never have to zoom more. I usually just draw on 100%. The only time i draw zoomed out is when i am commissioned to make full page illustration where the target resolution is bigger than my monitor. Then i zoom to 100% and go little by little on canvas, fixing whatever looks goofy

>PYWed, tradchad, face has correct proportions, STYLIZED lips, nose is okay (super unusual for begs), hair shows forms
i dont believe you are complete novice, this shows signs of previous art training. So yeah, you have "talent"

you need keys to drawing, if for nothing else the few pages about perspective will do you well
